Man attacks fiancee and her family KAKINADA: The Three Town police has registered a case against Garikapati Bharat Krishna (25) who attacked his fiancee and her family members at Rajiv Gruha Kalpa on Sunday evening.
Hajram Parveen (20), her father Khaja Mohinuddin, her mother Arisha, sister Nurisha and brother Abdul Rahim were injured in the attack. They were admitted to the Government General Hospital.
Krishna who hails from Nidubrolu in Guntur district, fell in love with her a year ago. Parveen worked as a teacher in a school at Recherlapeta in the city for some time. Krishna is a technician in a mobile company in Vijayawada.
Parveen's parents agreed to perform the marriage of their daughter with Krishna on May 21. He agreed to marry her as per Muslim tradition. But Mohinuddin postponed the marriage due to the death of his mother. On hearing the news, Krishna got angry and went to the house of Parveen and attacked Parveen's family after a heated argument.
