30th Sailing Championship from July 15
Hyderabad, July 10 (INN): Water Sports enthusiast of city are all keen and waiting to witness 30th Laser Sailing Championship scheduled to be organised by EME Sailing Association from 15th to 19th July at the picturesque Hussain Sagar Lake, between Secunderabad and Hyderabad, as part of 'Hyderabad Sailing Week'.
Sailors from across the country are already in city to practice in Hussain Sagar waters while dawning more skills in ongoing National Level Coaching Camp under chief coach Rajesh Chaudhary (Arjun Awardee). Approximately 150 sailors from about 25 affiliated Sailing Clubs across the country are expected to participate in the championship this season. A healthy and tough on water fight will be seen between medal contenders Sharif Khan, Gajender, Rout, Sachin Singha and other last year winners.
Sailing Coaching Camp:
A total 110 participants to including 52 young boys and girls, sailors of NCC Telangana, and sailors from Pune, Bhopal, Kerala, Bangalore and Mumbai are participating in the first National Level Sailing coaching camp being conducted by EME Sailing Association at Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad from 28 June and will conclude on 11th July.
Under the supervision of Chief Coach Rajesh Chaudhary, noted coaches like Patel Kamlesh from Army Yachting Node, B K Rout from EMESA, Gajender from Army Yachting Node and Sharif Khan from Army Yachting Node are engaged in coaching the youth and other sailors in the coaching camp
