Review: Geethanjali trailer New genre films have been gracing the Telugu celluloid and Horror comedy is one such genre. After the surprise success of Prema Katha Chitram, eminent writer Kona Venkat and chubby beauty Anjali are gearing up to surprise the audience with their upcoming horror comedy Geethanjali.
Anjali is playing lead role in writer Kona Venkat's first production venture 'Geethanjali'. Debutant director Raj Kiran directed the project under MVV Satyanarayana's MVV Cinema banner.
The trailer of Geethanjali has been released yesterday and it has hiked expectations due to some stimulating elements. The comedy ensemble cast works and the punches are felt and suspense is maintained till the end.
Editor Upendra has cut the video so as to evince tremendous interest. Praveen Lakkaraju's gentle background score, director Raaja Kiran's making, Kona Venkat's punch dialogues, Jabardasth fame Shakalaka Shankar and Satyam Rajesh comedy are highlights in the trailer. Anjali looked odd with voluptuous figure.
Geethanjali is not just a thriller; the movie will have enough comedy with Brahmanandam, Srinivas Reddy and few comedians on board. Brahmanandam look as 'Saitan Raj' look has been unveiled recently and garnered good response in the social media.
Besides all these, ace writer Kona Venkat has penned the script, apart from co-producing as well as supervising direction.
Kona Venkat is taking major responsibility of Geethanjali, in terms of production, publicity and business. The horror comedy starring Anjali and directed by Raj Kiran is likely to release in August. Will he succeed in his endeavour or not, we have to wait and see but the trailer has done its job.
