Lion First weekend WW collections Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer "Lion", which released amidst much fanfare, failed to roar at the box office and raked in Rs.12.30 crore in the first four days.
The film raked good numbers on first two days i.e on Thursday and Friday but it hasn`t been able to grow over the weekend after Friday. Both Saturday and Sunday have been below par compared to Friday. The film collects 12.30 crores by end of its first weekend and that'puts the film in a tight spot as it needs to collect 12 crores more to save the distributors.
All in all, the theatrical distribution rights of 'Lion' are valued at 30 crores, but distributors have paid only 24 crores to the makers in advances. So the film need to rake 12 crores more to save distributors. Let's see how Lion will perform in coming days.
