Okay Singapore is very Good I also agree. For only for visitors. But the people who stay there will expereince the real pain, which I know some as I have toured this place frequently.
Economy is not great and as many neibhourig countries are also improving and hence the tourist numbers are decreasing.If travelin the night time, some times Taxi drivers do not take you to your destination or 5$ over meter or any other flat rate.
A common man can not buy a house as he can not afford the sky rocketing expenses.
Once the taxi driver explained me that he had to sell his taxi and then run a taxi for someone and after all the expenses, it is very difficult to make both end meet.
Then nightclubs and massage parlour activities galore and there is no check and these activites are real money spinners

I had visited S'pore once and viisited most of the placed you had mentioned. Really the govt and public doing their best to attract tourists from all over the world. Yes, its a clean city, reason could be small area, well disciplined people, govt restrictions. Its a tourist place, and depend on toursim as one of the major income, so they are committed to maintain such high quality.
Recently i read an article in eenadu - eetaram. our young people, gathered together to develop our backward colonies. The link attached

Even though they are small in number, spending from their own earninngs, see their aims and ambitions. They did not go longway the social work, just selected a colony within their reach and started working together. Such dedicated small teams should start involvling in development our surroudings in multiple groupls. Hope one day it will make the city a well disciplined, well educated area.
India is a great country, its uniqueness cant be explained in words. Its source of inspiration for many scholars, scientists, great travellers.

Very nice to read about your trip.Please praise if they have any good Discipline,good politicians...but dont say that when we can learn from them.
I lived in Singapore about 2 years.If you visit any country gives you same feeling but once you start live then you will get to know real pains.
I have been travelling around the world since last 9 years and i feel India is the best country to live.If you can able to serve some thing to the society please do it.....I am doing it.

Thank you for posting about your trip to Singapore and it's greatness being very small island country.
Everybody dream about our country to make marvelous in all aspects. But it's very difficult till public,politics,rules and regulations change along with people mind set.
Any way we will work with hope...
Recently i noticed one thing many young people, who like to live in pleasent,peace and secure society without polluted politics, environment and corrupted services they are moving to countries like canada,newzealand other nice countries.
If our nation move towards development like other advanced countries we can live here happy for the nation.
