Articles: Women | Questions..... - Mrs. jo Jyothy
| |
I really find the statement 'Many wars were fought because of a woman' outrageous.
Sita devi, royal princess brought up with so much love married Rama and did all the wifely duties, gave up luxuries and chose to follow Rama into forrest. What did she get in return for her undying love? Abandonment when pregnant with twins and left on her own to die in a forrest! If Lord Rama had to abandon Sita for his kingly duties, why did he take such a cruel step and leave her in forest...why couldn't he leave her at her fathers place...life would have been a little better for her if he did that!!
Draupadi another princess who lived a luxurious life before marriage suffered unthinkable consequences after marrying the most powerful Pandavas.
What I don't understand is the stupid remarks such as 'the cause of wars are women' etc., despite the fact that there is no justification for what these epic women suffered.
Is there a justified answer to these questions?
