Today's Market Activity Report :Low Volumes due to expiry of October 2005 F&O contracts on 27th. Market open on a weak note initially which later on improved during the mid session. Sensex moved between positive and negative territory through out day with good volatility & closed just 17 points below than yesterdays closing.Nifty just closed @ 2408.50 down by 10 points. The daily gross FII turnover between Rs 1,860 cr to Rs 1,934 cr in two trading sessions between Monday and Tuesday .FIIs selling on Tuesday worth of Rs 232.70 cr.Total FIIs selling in this Oct month will come to worth of Rs 2,267.50 cr(as on 25 Oct ). Where as On Tuesday, local mutual funds bought shares worth a net Rs 285.54 cr.The net buying local mutual funds in equities in October has reached Rs 2,186.74 cr (till 25 Oct). There was huge block deal in ICICI Bank stock over 2cr shares.
Market analsys : As per our analsys market has taken the support inbetween 7850-7900. Unless until trade below 7850 one can buy in dips and sell in rallies. Sustain or close NIFTY trading above 2443 (9DMA) is first sign of bad completion. IT stocks trading or closing above CNX IT :3290 is bullish.Major stocks like Reliance (18dma: 768),Reliance capital (9dma :370);ICICI bank(9dma :509) ,I-Flex (9dma:899),Infosys (18 dma:2540), TCS(18dma :1433),Bharti tele(18 dma :332) IPCL (18dma :225) etc are now trading at good supports.
Giving few stocks trading near to 200 DMA's: VSNL :290, Andhra bank:94.Bank baroda : 220, City union bank:91,GIC HF :41,INDIA CEM:83,KTK bank: 97,KVB:449,Manali petro:18,BFL:262,Mysore cem :26,NALCO :165,NTPC:92,ONGC:924,PNB :395, SKumar:34, SCI :153,Strides :252,Tata chem :174,Tata power :397,Tata motor :474,Union Bank :115, Videocon int :74, by chance if the above stocks are availble in panic around 200 dma's , one can buy with some calculated risk .
