There are lot of differences between Vankai(Brinjal) and Tenkai(Coconut). These are some. Hope you agree. 1. Color differences : Vankai is in vankai color, Tenkai is in tenkai color. 2. Cost differences : Tenkai costs more than Vankai. 3. Taste differences : Tenkai tastes sweet, but Vankai not. 4. Both are Eatable Products. 5. We can eat Tenkai without cooking but its hard to eat raw vankai. 6. Vankai is used in products like vankai curry, pachi pulusu, gutti vankai curry etc. Tenkai is used in products like kobbari pachadi, kobbari kaaram, kobbari podam etc. 7. We can purchase Tenkai from pachari shops and Vegetable shops, but Vankai not available in pachari shops. 8. These days Reliance Fresh, Subiksha etc. Vegetable shops providing fresh Vankais. But coming to Tenkai's old Tenkai's taste good. 9. We can enjoy Tenkai water, but Vankai not. 10. We should break Tenkai, and we should cut Vankai. We can cut Vankai in our requested sizes, but we can't break Tenkai in our requested size. More differences will be in next article Vankai & Tenkai - 2.
