Telugu is one of the best languages of Southern India with rich cultural heritage. No wonder it's considered 'The Italian of the East'.
The literature in Telugu surged high centuries ago and remained there till recent times. But the onset of media, Cable TV boom, and busy world saw the decline of literal values in the language. Readership decreased immensely. The second most-spoken language of India could boast of people unable to read or write their mother tongue.
The site 'telugupeople.com' finally found a way of uniting the Telugus living the world over, by a single thread. Even workaholics find time out to connect to the net, the most popular medium of communication at present. No doubt it revived the literature with many talents coming up and expressing their feelings. It goes without saying that this produces many poets, writers, benefactors and readers all over the world.
In my opinion, 'telugupeople.com' is the best place in the world for Telugus in need of interaction. What's more, I wish the site grows to be the one with maximum hits (clicks!) in the world.
