Hungry to serve or for power?

Many people do criticise the TDP president for backstabbing his father-in-law, late NTR and occupying the throne. Even the present chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr.YSR criticised him recently and further said that Chandrababu does not have moral sense to criticise others as he backstabbed his father-in-law for the sake of exclusively power. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi president KCR wants to create a separate State and would like to head it, to compete for the same Devendergoud (NTPP), Vijayasanthi etc launched campaigning for separate Telangana independently. If they are really worried about Telangana's development, why dont they protest, and fight together for the socio-economic development of telangana? Community wise break-up : Out of a total of 14 Chief Ministers so far since November 1st 1956, there was no Kapu C.M. and 13 C.M.s are from Kamma, Reddy, Velama and Brahmin communities and only one from S.C community, i.e. Damodaram Sanjeevayya, who could rule for only 791 days. Thus the B.C.s, S.T.s and some O.C.s like Kapu, Kshatriya, Vysyas etc could not make any C.M. from their communities so far. Similarly most of the weaker sections could not even enter into the legislative body as the representatives of people viz MLA, MLC etc according to a revelation by a Minister in the recent Assembly session. Ofcourse the Government is proposing to reserve 33% of the total seats to B.C.s in the legislative body. Among the 14 C.M.s so far, only one hails from Velama, one from Brahmin, three from Kamma community and the remaining all belong to Reddy community. Reddys also ruled the State for the longest period Brahnins constitute only 3% of the total population of Andhra Pradesh, Kapus around 15.2%, Velamas also 3% and Kammas-4.8%, Reddys constitute about 12-15% of the total population of Andhra Pradesh. Even the first Chief Minister of Tamilnau was a Reddy named O.P.Ramasamy Reddiar. Significant numbers of Reddys are also present in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Conclusion : Due to heavy competition, the TDP recently announced 1. Free supply of subsidised rice, 2. Doubling the monthly quota, 3. Waiver of jewel loans, 4. Houses for Government employees and 5. Free supply of LPG under deepam scheme, which will be included in it's manifesto for the 2009 assembly election. In an Iftar party for orphans, Chiranjeevi (Prajarajyam Party's president) said, 'I will be the man of people, irrespective of religion caste or any other differences'. Now the remaining parties too will announce their competitive manifestos. Thus if political competition leads to the over all development of the state it would be good for democracy, otherwise too many parties may confuse the people and the will of the people may not prevail.
