Girls can wear any kind of dress they wish.
Time for studies:
It is OK for the students to spend equal time on love, moving freely with the opposite sex, have fun, pick up brawls, indulge in drinking etc.
The realities against the above aspects showcased in your movie:
Ragging is banned on the college campuses and it is illegal.
Majority of Engineering Colleges do not:
Allow boys and girls to wear dresses that make a sexy appeal.
Allow students to move so freely and physically so closely on the campus.
Majority of the girls:
Feel safe to be with their female friends.
Be in their limits even in conversing with the boys.
Maintain physical gap while moving with the boys.
Never wish to go on bike with a guy so much in public places.
Focus more on studies.
Keep in back of their minds the struggle, pain and sacrifice their parents make to help them pursue this course as majority of the girls do not come from so called wealthy families.
Majority of the boys
Do not wish to go public with a girl and then marry another
Spend time on studies.
Do not wish to have a drink – not even a beer.
Majority of the parents:
Want their wards to focus on students that help them carve their career paths.
No parents encourage their ward to indulge in Love at that age (18+ years) as it is basically driven by natural attraction towards opposite sex and hence not advisable to indulge in.
Falling in love and later living for life with that love is not a decision to be taken during studies. No sensible parent would support this.
No parents send their girls with the boys on vacation to secluded places.
