Both KCR and Uttam claims victory Hyderabad, Dec 7 (INN): Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed confidence that TRS would retain power with an overwhelming majority.
Speaking to media persons after exercising his franchise, along with his wife Shobharani, at his native village Chintamadaka in Siddipet Assembly constituency, KCR said people of Telangana have voted in favour of development and therefore, TRS was all set to form the government again.
Meanwhile, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the People's Front comprising of Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI would form the next government in Telangana. Speaking to media persons in Huzurnagar, he said there were clear indications that the People's Front would win more than 70 seats to form the next government. Further, he said there has been a huge increase in the vote share of Congress party compared to 2014 elections.
Earlier in the day, Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with his wife and ex-MLA Padmavathi Reddy and other family members, exercised his franchise in Kodad.
