For about an year or more, I was quite active on two discussion groups here. Some people on the board did not like my style of writing, and I couldn't stomach their criticisms. Others on the group kept quite (saarapu dharmamun vimala satyamu ...) so I decided to stay off. I grew up in Sec-bad, went to High School there and later to RECW (1959-64). After IIT-B, and back at RECW as a lecturer, I came to US in 1970, and have been here since then. From High School time I was fascinated with chandas, telugu poetry, and viswanatha literature. (porapaaTai janiyinchitin prabhu, ....) While I detoured into Engg as my vocation, I have maintained the interest and developed a circle of friends in the field, notably Kovela poets.
