Padayatras lost its meaning, says Anam
Jangaredygudem, May 16 (INN): Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy today said that padayatra has lost its relevance.
In an indirect reference to Sharmila, who has crossed the 2000 km mark in the district, he said, the padyatras have no meaning in the present days. He held a review meeting with district officials here.
Later speaking to reporters he said, the government has released Rs 140 crores towards interest free loans to the farmers. There would be some difficulties in implementing the new schemes and we will work out a mechanism to implement the schemes, he said.
