HHF, TSCBOA funds rare surgery Hyderabad, Oct 26 (INN): The Healthier Hearts Foundation, in association with Telangana State Cabs and Bus Operators Association (TSCBOA), has organised a rare surgery for the mother of a poor cab driver.
The cab driver, Ramachander, of Habeeb Nagar, had approached TSCBOA President Syed Nizamuddin seeking help in conducting surgery for his mother Devari Chandrakala who was suffering from Parkinson's disease. Nizamuddin then involved the Healthier Hearts Foundation which made arrangements for Deep Brain Stimulating procedure. The surgery cost of Rs. 7.5 lakh was borne by Nizamuddin and Vennela Logistics proprietor K. Narender.
Subsequently, the surgery was successfully performed at Maxcure Hospital at Madhapur last week. The patient has recovered well and was discharged from the hospital today, informed Dr. Mohammed Farid of Healthier Hearts Foundation.
