TTD release CD's on vikhasana agama sastras Tirumala, September 16: There is some good news for practitioners of Vikanasa Agama Shastas and rituals. Technology has now enabled access of Vikanasa Agama mantras to the benefit of common man and he nee not wait for their recital or rendering by the Agama pundits, whose tribe is fast eclipsing. A package of two CDs on Vikanasa Agama shastras and rituals were released by IYR Krishna Rao, the executive officer of the TTDs in front of Hanumantha Vahanam at Vahanam Mandapam at Tirumala as part of the Brahmotsavam. The CDs comprised of Vikanasa Agama Suprabhatham and Stotra Ratnavali.
The TTD has launched various programs for protection and preservation of Agamas, Vedas and for research studies. Currently it has launched a Nitya Veda Parayanam at the Vantotsava Mandapam which is expected to be a life long feature of Tirumala. TTD has made elaborate arrangements for benefit of common devotees during the Brahmotsavam which commenced last Saturday. Sri Venkataramana Deekshitulu, Chief Priest, Sri Medasani Mohan, Director Annamacharya Project, Sri Muralikrishna, DyEO(General) and others were present.
