Syllabus textbooks from Class VII to X revised Hyderabad, Sept 28 (INN): The State Council Educational Research and Training on Tuesday said that the textbooks from classes I to VI have already been introduced in a phased manner and now it is proposed to revise the textbooks of remaining classes VII to X textbooks of classes VII and IX during 2010-2011 and textbooks of classes VIII and X during 2011-2012. Accordingly the syllabus from classes VII to X have been revised and the draft new syllabus have been developed duly involving experts from national level institutions, Universities , Teacher Education colleges and Teachers duly referring to the existing states syllabus, NCERT syllabus, the syllabi of other state such as Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat etc.
The draft syllabus copies of all school subjects from classes VII to X will be placed in the SCERT website www.apscert.org for inviting comments and suggestions from Teachers, Parents, Teacher Educators and other interested persons to SCERT Email: apscert@yahoo.com. The comments and suggestions will be referred to the subject committee for examination and inclusion of valid suggestions in the finalization of the syllabus and development of textbooks.
