Not only Education, Raise Awareness on Children Rights Ongole, November 23. Child Help Line organised a program in PVR Girls High School, Ongole led by girls group president Srisaipriya. The district second additional chief justice, juvenile justice board chief justice N. Shravan Kumar delivered his speech as a chief guest and said that not only education to the children, we need to raise the awareness on the children about their rights.
The children problems will be solved using the child associations engaged in the schools. In future we can stop the illegal transportation, child marriages, sexual harassment of children with the help of these associations.
Teachers have the responsibility to educate the children about the good and bad things in the society. He advised the children not to choose suicide is the option for the small problems that they are facing. For each problem there is remedy he added.
The Prakasam district child care officer Saraswathi said that with the formation of child groups children will get solutions for their problems. The formation of child groups should be encouraged throughout the district, she added.
Child line representative B. Sagar said that the girls in the age group between 14 and 18 are in attractiveness and the bad aspect of influence that movies or TV programs at this stage. Finally they are attracting to illegal activities. To prevent this children awareness programs will be conducted in the schools with the help of child groups that are engaged in the schools.
The child group formed in the PVR Girls High School named as Raja Ram Mohan Rai. Head Master Jhansi Rani, Social Teacher Raja Sulochana, Child line coordinators Bujji, Babu and Srinivasa Murthy are participated in this program.
