TRS describes BJP a communal party
Warangal, May 8 (INN): The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Tuesday described the Bharatiya Janata Party as a communal outfit.
Talking to reporters here, TRS politburo member Jagadishwar Reddy said that the BJP was a communal party and unlike Mahbubnagar, it would suffer a humiliating defeat in the Parakala assembly constituency.
He expressed confidence that the TRS candidate would win the Parakala seat with a huge margin in the ensuing by-elections.
He said compared to the BJP, the prospects of TRS candidate were brighter in the Parakala constituency. He claimed that the BJP would not be able to even secure its deposit.
It may be mentioned that both the parties are allies of the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee and their relations got strained after the Mahbubnagar by-elections.
Jagadishwar Reddy said that the TRS would announce its candidate after convening a meeting with the party cadre soon.
He said that the 'Pallebata' programme launched by the TRS in Parakala Assembly constituency received overwhelming response from all sections of people.
He said that the programmes was aimed to expose the anti-Telangana stand of various political parties in the region.
