Vayalar Ravi to oversee by-polls campaign Hyderabad, May 15 (INN): The Congress High Command has once again deputed Union Minister for Overseas Affairs Vayalar Ravi to supervise the by-election campaign.
According to reports, Vayalar Ravi would arrive in on May 16 to hold meetings with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana and other senior leaders over the by-election campaign.
Apart from reviewing election strategies, Ravi will make key suggestions to improve party's chances in the State and he himself will participate in the by-election campaign in Kurnool district on May 17.
According to sources, Vayalar Ravi's participation in the election campaign has been aimed at boosting the morale of party rank and file. He would also look into party seniors' criticism against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and prevail upon them not to make such statements.
