CM mulls Cabinet reshuffle next month HYDERABAD: After obtaining quit letters from Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is now reportedly making preparations to overhaul his Cabinet, likely in the third week of June after the second spell of the budget session of Assembly.
'The high command has given the chief minister the go-ahead for revamping the Cabinet. Following this, Kiran Reddy has already started identifying probables,' a senior Congress leader said.
During the much-awaited reshuffle, Kiran Reddy is likely to drop some ministers, including DL Ravindra Reddy and C Ramachandraiah, who have been criticising him openly from various platforms, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Congress high command is also said to have cleared a list of 29 names in connection with the reconstitution of PCC state executive, which has been long pending.
It is learnt that the new executive would be announced after the broad-based meeting of the party at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy stadium here Wednesday.
