Krishna Madiga to float new party Nandigama (Krishna): Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga on Sunday said he would launch new political party before December this year. Addressing the media here, he said the party would work for poverty alleviation and social justice.
Madigas and sub-castes would treat Congress party as enemy if the United Progressive Alliance government led by it at the Centre failed to provide constitutional validity for SC Categorisation in the next session of parliament.
Referring to the reluctant stand of the Telugu Desam Party supremo, N Chandrababu Naidu, on the Madiga reservation, the MRPS founder criticise him for failure to raise the issue in State Assembly at any point of time during his nine-year tenure as leader of Opposition.
Leaders like him were eying for votes from Madigas while not giving support to the cause of to the cause of Madigas. The TDP Madiga leaders like Motkupalli were just slaves in their parties. They were not in a position to do justice to others in the community.
He said that the MRPS would launch a series of agitations seeking justice to Madigas and the poor in the days to come.
