YSRC wooing Kandula brothers Kadapa: According to sources YSRC leaders were negotiating with Kandula Siva Reddy and his brother Rajamohan Reddy to get them into the party. The brothers, who joined the TDP recently, were unhappy over denial of any one of them getting the Kadapa MP ticket.
Sources said YSRC leaders, including party's district convener K Suresh Babu, former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, Jammalamadugu contestant C Adinarayana Reddy and Kadapa MP candidate YS Avinash Reddy, spoke to the two brothers to convince them to join the party. They assured to do justice to the brothers. Kandula brothers reportedly told the YSRC leaders that they would take a decision in a couple of days.
Meanwhile, the TDP-BJP alliance is still in confusion over sharing of seats. Though the BJP was allotted the Kadapa Assembly seat, the TDP also fielded its candidate there. The TDP district leaders are confident that the party high command will prevail over the BJP leadership and ensure that the saffron party candidate withdraws from the fray.
The YSR Congress party is said to be wooing the disgruntled TDP MLA from Prduttur Linga Reddy. Some YSRC leaders have spoken to Linga Reddy and promised to do justice to him if he joins the YSRC, sources said.
