Over 400 govt staff re-allotted to Telangana Hyderabad, July 26 (INN): The Telangana Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee on Saturday informed that nearly 400 employees of Telangana, who were deployed for different departments of residuary Andhra Pradesh, have been sent back to Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons after making a representation to the Kamalnathan Committee here, Committee chairman E Nageshwara Rao, Co-Chairman M Narsing Rao and Secretary General G Jacob said that all the local employees working with 10 different departments should be re-allotted to Telangana.
So far, 60 drivers and 350 office subordinates and other Class-IV staff working in two different departments have been re-allotted to Telangana. Similarly, they said nearly 400 more staff members, working with eight departments, are waiting for similar orders.
The committee members insisted that Telangana staff should be allowed to work only for Telangana Government.
