Lost Rudramadevi jewellery found Its known that jewelry worth Rs 45 lakh meant for Anushka starrer 'Rudramadevi' went missing from sets at Ramanaidu Studios few days ago. The entire film unit shocked to their life when the jewels went missing and they lodged complaint on police station.
Once these news hit the headlines many theories started circulating that this brouhaha being done just for publicity sake. But all the reports said to be wrong and finally police have a clue on the issue. The actual reality amidst all these speculations seems to be that the jewellery has indeed been stolen.
According to sources the jewelry designed by the famous designer Neetu Lulla were crafted at Nathella Anjaneyulu Chetty Jewelers (NAC) based in Chennai. The shop management thought of putting the jewelry in display post wrap up of the shoot, so they used original gold to make the ornaments.
The job of carrying the Jewellary assigned to a person named Ravi Subrahmanyam, who works as executive at NAC Jewellers. This very person has filed the complaint in Hyderabad a week ago that the jewellery box went missing from the shooting spot at Nanakramguda Ramanaidu Studios. But the big twist in the story is the complainer turned out to be a suspect in the case.
After a brief investigation, Police are quick to take Ravi into custody after which his wife in Chennai spilled the beans. Ravi's wife in a statement to police stated that her husband bought 10 kgs of gold to home which she thinks is mixture of original and fake gold.
Some sources saying that cops seized 10 kgs gold jewels. Ravi however changed track by saying company officials didn't know that some jewels are in his house. Police will clarify everything after examining Ravi soon. In a day or two, police will be holding a press meet to showcase the culprit to media.
