All set for Telangana's Household Survey Hyderabad, Aug 18 (INN): Elaborate arrangements have been made for the first-of-kind Intensive Household Survey across Telangana on Tuesday. Nearly 3.7 lakh employees would be collecting the data of more than 86 lakh families in 10 districs of Telangana.
Nearly 75,000 employees, including 4,000 police personnel, would conduct the survey of about 20 lakh families in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits.
Similarly, the State Government 35,000 employees in Nalgonda (10.42 lakh families); 28,000 in Nizamabad (7.5 lakh families); 29,000 in Khammam (8.77 lakh families); 34,000 in Karimnagar (9.86 lakh families); 43,000 in Warangal (10.15 lakh families); 39,000 in Mahabnagar (9.74 lakh families); 30,000 in Medak (7.56 lakh families); 30,000 in Adilabad (7.47 lakh families) and 28,000 employees have been deployed in Ranga Reddy to survey about 7.89 lakh families.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy informed that nearly 4,000 police personnel of constable to Sub-Inspector rank would participate in the household survey.
The State Government has already declared a holiday for both public and private sectors. Petrol bunks, banks and even public transport too will remain closed on Tuesday. Except for the emergency services, no other service work in view of the survey.
