Clear fee reimbursement arrears: Mallu Ravi Hyderabad, Sept 20 (INN): Congress senior leader Mallu Ravi on Saturday demanded that the Telangana Government clear the arrears of Rs 1,326 crore to the college managements.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Ravi said that the managements of private colleges and its staff were facing lot of problems due to the pending dues.
Further, the students were facing uncertainty with regard to continuance of their studies. He accused the government of pushing the managements and students towards suicide like situation.
Ravi said that several colleges have not paid the fee to the lecturers and a few of them are on the verge of closure. He said that the people, especially the students' community had a lot of expectations with the new government in view of formation of Telangana. Therefore, he appealed to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to issue orders to clear the pending arrears towards fee reimbursement.
