TRS Govt is anti-labour, alleges Ponnala Hyderbad, Oct 18 (INN): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Saturday accused the State Government of being anti-labour.
Speaking to media persons after paying floral tributes to former Chief Minister T Anjaiah in the Gandhi Bhavan on his death anniversary, Ponnala described that the present TRS Government was working against the labour class whose welfare was advocated by T Anjaiah. He praised the role of Anjaiah in bringing the Congress and INTUC closer to each others.
Ponnala alleged that the TRS Government was working against the labour class and finding new ways and means to humiliate the poor. Responding to some reported comments by some TRS leaders, he asked whether any woman would lie about her husband's death only get a mere pension amount.
He said by suspecting the poor people, the TRS Government was humiliating the entire Telangana population. He accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of acting like a dictator by considering himself to be a 'super human being'.
