TS Assembly session extended till Nov 29 Hyderabad, Nov 21 (INN): The ongoing budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly has been extended till November 29. The decision was taken during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee held in Speaker Madhusudan Chary's chambers in Assembly premises on Friday. Both, the Legislative Assembly and Council, are likely to discuss the Appropriation Bill on November 28.
The TDP members boycotted the BAC meeting. According to sources, Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy and BJP floor leader Dr K Lakshman raised the issue of TRS members not allowing TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy to speak in the House. However, Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao made it clear that Revanth Reddy would not be allowed to speak unless he tenders an apology for his remarks against Nizamabad MP K Kavitha.
