Three killed in suicide bid by goldsmith's family Hyderabad, Nov 22 (INN): A goldsmith family committed suicide by consuming cyanide mixed water in Nagarjuna Nagar in Kushaiguda police limits on Saturday morning.
According to police, the goldsmith, Eshwara Chary, 55, administered cyanide mixed water to his wife P Parvathi (50), sons P Nagababu (24) and P Prasad (26), before consuming the same. While Chary, his wife and son Nagababu died, Prasad survived and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Chary fell into huge debts of several lakhs and the same is suspected to have driven him to resort to the extreme step.
