Chakri's wife complains against in-laws Hyderabad, December 17: Not even three days after the noted film music director Chakri passed away following a massive heart attack, it seems, his grieving family members began fighting over his assets that he left.
His sudden death has brought forth the simmering undercurrents in plaguing his family. Chakri's wife Shravani on Wednesday approached Human Rights Commission (HRC) and lodged a complaint against her in-laws alleging harassment.
In the complaint she submitted to the SHRC, she alleged that her in-laws and Chakri's sisters have not even allowed her access to her belongings and couldn't even allow her to change clothes.
According to reports Shravani in her complaint mentioned that her two sister-in-laws have been causing her mental trauma by alleging that she is the reason for Chakri's death. She accused her in-laws of looting the composer's house when Chakri's body was still lying at Film Chamber.
When media asked her about more details regarding the case, Sharavani said: "He passed away just 3 days ago.I am unable to digest the news. Wait for 11 more days to complete all the rituals that need to be done. I will speak after that''
Sources say, Chakri and Shravani who fell in love, married without the consent of the composer's parents. Meanwhile in-law's had accused Sravani of a murder conspiracy and want a post-mortem being done again on Chakri. However Sravani's father condemns the reports and said that this is a ghastly and completely bogus statement.
