GHMC to felicitate newly registered voters today
Hyderabad, Jan 24 (INN): On the occasion of the 5th National Voters' Day celebrations on Sunday, the Booth Level Officers in each of 3,848 polling station in respect of 15 Assembly Constituencies of the district will felicitate the newly registered voters.
The felicitation will be done from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM on Sunday in a brief ceremony / public function to be arranged at each polling station location. As prescribed by the Election Commission of India (ECI), a badge with its logo with the slogan 'Proud to be a voter ' Ready to vote' will also be handed over by the BLO to the new electors during the felicitation ceremony along with their EPIC.
GHMC Special Officer Somesh Kumar also informed that sufficient quantities of application in Forms 6,7,8 and 8A have been made available at all the 3,848 polling station locations of the district on Sunday for distribution to the public and also collection of forms and photographs, whoever wants to submit application with photographs during the NVD celebrations.
Therefore, all the electors / Public of Hyderabad district have been requested to utilize this opportunity to obtain their EPICs (newly enrolled electors under Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, 2015) and also to submit their claims and objections, if any.
