SCR gears up to face extra rush Hyderabad, March 27 (INN): The Advance Reservation Period (ARP) for issue of reserved tickets will be increased to 120 days instead of the existing 60 days from 1st April. As a result, more number of passengers are expected at the booking counters on the opening day of the extended reservation period ie., on 1st April.
The South Central Railway has already made sufficient arrangements to cope up with the extra rush at Reservation Counters of Passenger Reservation System offices (PRS) all over the Zone. Adequate number of booking counters will be opened and sufficient number of staff posted to man the counters in both the shifts.
Monitoring will be in place to continuously to analyze passenger rush and draw up plans as needed.
