RPF nabs a tour operator Hyderabad, March 27 (INN): The Anti Touting Squad (RPF) of South Central Railway made a surprise check at Sri Sairam Tours & Travels, Kamala Nagar, ECIL and found that a total of 30 e-tickets booked on different personal ID recently.
The operators used to book e-tickets for his customers on commission basis of Rs. 50/- per e-Ticket and carrying business unauthorized. The owner of above tours and travels was arrested and produced before Hon'ble court of IIMM for Railways for judicial remand.
In another case, Inspector Protection Force (IPF) / Vikarabad arrested three persons who are posing as eunuchs created nuisance in the Tr. No. 16593 Link Express. The imposters caused ACP for 21 minutes near Tandur and created nuisance. In this connection, IPF/ Vikarabad registered a case in Cr No. 156/15 U/s 141 of Railway Act.
Asst. Sub Inspector Protection Force / Hyderabad along with staff and Home guards while on duty at main entrance of Hyderabad Railway station noticed a person carrying 03 bags suspiciously. He was detained and the baggage was scanned. It was found containing of dry ganja in 14 closed packets each weighing 2 kgs. On enquiry, he revealed his name as Vijaya, 56, of Dilsukhnagar. He is intended to travel from Hyderabad to Mumbai CST by Tr No.12702 Hussain Sagar Express. Later, the material and person was forwarded to Excise department for necessary action.
On March 25, one passenger by name G.V.Prabhu, kept his bag in B-8 coach of Tr No. 12437 Rajdhani Express on PF No.1 of Secunderabad Railway station and got down for some other reason. Later he missed the train. He approached RPF staff on platform informed the matter, who in turn to Divisional Security control room and to SIPF/KZJ. SIPF/Kazipet recovered the left over bags (suitcase and carry bag) from Rajdhani Express. Later the left over bag was handed over to party under acknowledgement.
