AP CS I.V.R. Krishna Rao review meeting on Housing Corporation Hyderabad, April 17: Housing Department is playing a major role in achieving double digit growth in 2015-16 and by the year 2022 everyone will have own house in Andhra Pradesh State, Chief Secretary said.
Chief Secretary Sri I.Y.R. Krishna Rao has reviewed today in detail on issues, progress of the works and the action plan to achieve Double Digit Growth in Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation. Based on the Budget allocations 56,435 houses are proposed to construct houses in the year 2015-16 in urban and rural areas. Functionary-wise Performance indicators have been fixed from the Project Director to up to the level of Assistant Engineers at District level.
Measures have already been taken by the State Government for Housing Corporation to achieve the results with minimum expenditure. To complete 1.35 lakh houses which are at Lintel Level (LL) and Roof Level (RL) stage to catch low hanging fruits. To complete and handover 2600 houses in urban areas along with infrastructure within six months and to complete 10000 houses for rehabilitation of Hudhud cyclone victims with co-operation of donors.
Chief Secretary has issued instructions to the concerned that the total beneficiary data should be placed in the Housing website and made accessible by the public. The District Collectors are requested to co-ordinate with the Housing Corporation for its smooth functioning of the housing programme and any issues relating to housing programme raised by the Collectors are being sorted out by the Department. Updation of the stage and release of payment to the beneficiaries are being done through online only.
Officials of the Housing Corporation informed on the implementation of e-Office in all the District Offices by end of May 2015 and e-Office has already started in the Secretariat.
Spl. Chief Secretary Planning Sri S.P. Tucker, Prl. Finance Secretary Sri Ajeya Kallam, Joint Secretary to C.M. Sri Pradyumna and other officers were attended the meeting.
