Shocker: Ban on Mahesh director Tollywood industry also faced bad effects of state bifurcation and we have witnessed many differences between AP and Telangana artists. When we are just assuming that the state bifurcations side effects have settled down, now controversial director Teja and his film have stirred a new controversy.
Going into the details, Teja is doing a film 'Hora Hori' with all newcomers and the movie casting includes a maximum of Telangana born artistes and technicians. Teja recently announced that he will encourage talent from Telangana.
Now APFEF( Andhra Pradesh film employee federation) took a serious note of his contravention and announced non-cooperation for the director. This means a total ban by the AP workers on the filmmaker. The reason that APFEF gave was that the director violated the federation norms by hiring non-APFEF workers.
They issued notices to various trade bodies including telugu film producers council, directors, writers, chambers etc., claiming that 14000 cine workers in 24 crafts would not cooperate with the film maker teja.When approached, director teja confessed that APFEF has issued a non-cooperation notice and said that AP federation has no jurisdiction to ban his films in new state. He expressed confidence that he will release film in May as planned.
