Five persons commit suicide Hyderabad, May 26 (INN): In separate cases, five persons, including three women, committed suicide for different reasons.
In Langar Houz police limits, 17-year-old Saba Fatima committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Ahmed Colony on Monday night. Saba reportedly had an argument with her sister Sara after they returned from a function on Monday night. Upset over the beheviour of her sister, Saba attempted suicide by hanging to the ceiling. She was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where she was declared brought dead.
In another case, V Parvathamma, 24, succumbed to the burn injuries which she sustained after setting herself ablaze. According to Kanchanbagh police, Parvathamma took the extreme step at her residence in ESI Nagar after having a fight with her relatives Yadaiah and Yadamma on Monday. She was immediately rushed to Osmania General Hospital where she died on Tuesday.
In a separate case, V Madhavi, 40, of Musheerabad, who had consumed poison on May 25, died at the Gandhi Hospital on Tuesday. Ill-health is suspected to have driven her to suicide, according to Musheerabad police.
In a different case, 55-year-old K Ramulu, committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison allegedly due to financial problems. He took the extreme step at his residence in Ramanthapur on May 22 and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Monday night, Uppal police said.
In the last case, K Lakshman, 55, committed suicide on Monday night by hanging to the ceiling at Swagath Function Hall in Kothapet where he used to work as a house-keeper. He was a native of Maharashtra and financial problems are suspected to have driven to suicide.
