Special drive against touts by RPF Hyderabad, May 29 (INN): As a part of the ongoing 'Passenger and Customer Facilitation Fortnight' and to prevent unauthorized business of e-ticketing and touting activity on South Central Railway jurisdiction, Railway Protection Force (RPF), conducted a special drive against touts in twin cities and other places on Friday.
During the drive RPF Squads arrested eight touts, four touts in the twin city, one at Nellore, Anakapalli, Aurangabad and Narasaraopet and seized 27 tickets procured by the touts on fake IDs at various 'E' ticketing agencies. In this connection, RPF registered cases on them under section 143 of Railways Act.
