NATS celebrates PV's birth anniversary NATS Detroit chapter has celebrated Late Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao's birthday. This program was conducted in Novi, Michigan at Christian Community Hall. The event started with Ganapathi prayer and patriotic songs from Kalyani Mantripragada, Aneesha Mantripragada and Sri Chandana Anumolu.
Siva Adusumilli conveyed that even though India got freedom in 1947, real financial freedom was achieved in 1991. He mentioned that this transformation occurred by the Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization driven by PV Narasimha Rao as the prime minister of India. Pinnamaneni Srinivas listed out the achievements and gave his insights about the Management style of PV Narashimha Rao. Goginaneni Sambahasiva Rao compared PV Narashimha Rao with mythological character Karna from Mahabharatam. He explained that even though PV has done wonders for the country he was not duly recognized for his contributions by his own party. Chandra annavarapu shared his childhood experience when he met PV Narasimha Rao along with his father at Ramtek, Maharastra.
Kalarani Kakarla appreciated the speakers and expressed that NATS is doing a wonderful job helping the community. Krishna Krothappali pointedout that even though P.V. Narashimha Rao was not recognized and was ignored by his own party he never went to the media or publicized about it. This shows his true commitment and regard for the party. This is something that all political and social workers need to learn from P.V. Narashimha Rao's life.
Subhash Routu shared one of the interesting facts about P.V. Narasimha Rao. When P.V. was the prime minister he was approached by some of the prominent people from Warangal. They had some concerns on road widening and were resisting change. P.V. requested his personal to arrange for a Delhi tour for his home town natives. After the ride was over PV asked them 'how is Delhi ?' They expressed that the city was very well developed with wide roads and big buildings. P.V. looking at them said 'now, don't you think we want Warangal to be well developed with similar wide roads ?'
The event was attended by Dwaraka Prasad Boppana, Vishnu Veerapaneni, Ravi Kutumba Rao, Srekanth Gogineni, Srini Nukala, Bharath Madugula, Venu Kodali and Yadagiri Ilena. The event ended with Kishore tammineedi's vote of thanks. He thanked Sudhakar Katragadda from Strategic Staffing IT Inc for sponsoring the event. Basavendra Surapaneni, Srini Kodali, Gautal Marneni, Datta Sirigiri, Sridhar Atluri, Venugopal Suraparaju etc were appreciated by NATS president Ravi Achanta and NATS chairman Madhu Korrapati for conducting the event.
