Jana slams TRS Govt for not acting on workers stir Leader of Opposition in Assembly K Jana Reddy on Wednesday advised the people to clear the garbage to register their protest against the State Government's failure to provide better sanitation.
Participating in the agitation by sanitation workers in Nalgonda, Jana Reddy alleged that the State Government did not react to the month-long strike by the sanitation workers across the State. He said that the Congress party would raise the issue in the next Assembly session. He said that the government took no steps to accept the demand for increase in salaries by thousands of workers of Panchayat Raj, municipalities and municipal corporations.
Jana Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been misleading the people by making different announcements. He said that the TRS Government has completely failed to fulfill the promise that it made with the people during elections.
