Gutha accuses TRS Govt of neglecting education Hyderabad, Aug 2 (INN): Congress MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has accused the TRS Government of completely neglecting the education sector in Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons in Nalgonda, Sukhender Reddy said that the TRS Government took no steps to implement the promise of providing KG to PG free education although the students already lost two academic years. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao secured votes by promising that the KG to PG free education would be imparted in English medium. However, nothing has been done in this regard. Further, the State Government did not release adequate funds for the construction of Model Schools.
Sukhender Reddy also slammed the State Government for not constituting the Governing Bodies for 11 universities in the State. He said the posts of Vice-Chancellors are lying vacant in almost all universities in the State.
