Crowd swells as Raahgiri completes 7 months Hyderabad, Aug 23 (INN): Crowd swells at Raahgiri as it completed seven months on Sunday.
Police extended permission to Raahgiri for six more months until February 2016. Raahgiri Initiative bagged Telangana Chamber of Events Industry (TCEI) Award as one of the best social initiatives. The award was presented to Raahgiri Team recently.
Raahgiri on Sunday witnessed Live Art Camp. A group of painters painted on Canvass which was brought colours to the Raahgiri. The Live Art Camp was coordinated by artutsav.com. The Live Art Campaing is an initiative of artutsav.com. This initiative was to promote art and make it reach to all.
"Henceforth, we will have Live Art Camp every Sunday on some or the other social issued," informed Prashanth Bach, the man behind the Raahgiri. We will encourage young artists at Raahgiri, who can showcase their talent on many social issues informed Vishala Reddy of the Raahgiri Team, he said.
There was a Run and Walk on Car-Free-Thursday. Group of volunteers Ran and Walked across the Raahgiri Road, holding placards, creating awareness about the Car-Free-Initiative kicked off in the recent past.
More than 2000 people walked into Raahgiri on Sunday, walked, ran, danced, did masti with friends, played. Children seen enjoying hoolahoops, girls and elderly women got engaged themselves in skipping. The regular Zumba, Bollywoood Dance, Fitness Activities, Cycling continued as usual.
