Israeli firm to conduct exhibition on food processing Hyderabad, Nov 25 (INN): Israel-based Kenes Exhibitions Chairman Avi Rosner and General Manager Prema Zilberman on Wednesday met Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao to discuss for conducting of an International Exhibition on Food Processing Technologies and Industry.
Kenes Exhibitions submitted a proposal to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for conducting of an International exhibition and Conference on Food Processing and Industry Food Pro ' 2016 and the representatives explained their vision and business objectives.
The Chief Secretary informed that the Government of Andhra Pradesh formulate a fresh Food Processing Policy duly keeping in view of the tactical advantages like conductive climatic conditions, diverse raw material base, excellent infrastructure, large Land bank and abundant availability of skilled manpower etc., has accorded top priority to industrial growth as a means to mitigate poverty and unemployment. With an aim of Food Processing Policy 2015-2020 A.P. State intends to be the most preferred destination for Food Processing Industry and to capitalize on the rich and diverse food production base of Andhra Pradesh to provide fillip to the sector, Chief Secretary said.
It is proposed to organize the event in the month of December 2016 at Vijayawada.
