Cash For Vote: Arrest On Cards For TDP MLA Sensational 'Cash for Vote' comes into news again with spotlight on TDP Jubilee hIlls MLA Maganti Gopinath. As per reports stage is set for the arrest of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation TDP president and Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath in the Cash for Vote scam.
Reports saying that money caught from Revanth Reddy that he offered to nominated MLA Stephenson was taken from Maganti and the ACB has all evidences about MLA's hand. Gopinath's link has come to light during the ACB probe into the Cash for Vote scam.
Following this news is that MLA could be arrested soon.Sources said that Gopinath would be served a notice and then the arrest could be made very soon.TDP legislator A. Revanth Reddy was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on May 31 when he was offering Rs.50 lakh to Stephenson to make him vote for TDP-BJP candidate in the elections to Telangana legislative council.
ACB, which had laid a trap on a complaint by Stephenson, also arrested Revanth Reddy's aides Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha. ACB arrested Revanth and another MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in the case and then investigated on where from the money came. Now Maganti is in trouble with evidences pointed at him.
