Railway Minister to file nomination to RS from AP TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is mulling with options to finalize nominees for Rajya Sabha elections. As per reports Naidu has decided to nominate union Railway minister Suresh Prabhu for the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh state.Earlier it was rumoured that Union minister and CBN'S close aid Venkaiah Naidu will get chance from Andhra Pradesh quota but he has filed his nomination for the upper house from Rajasthan.
Meanwhile TDP party and CBN continued to maintain suspense on whether or not to field a fourth candidate. Chandrababu met the YSRCP MLAs who were recently lured into the party and reportedly discussed about options of fielding fourth candidate. TDP needs 17 more MLA's support to win fourth RS seat.
Chandrababu held series of meeting with senior party leaders Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Achen Naidu, Prattipati Pulla Rao, Sujana Chowdary, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, and Kala Venkat Rao earlier in the day. According to reports Rayalaseema senior leader TG Venkatesh and Sujana Chowdary is likely to get chance in the final list of RS nominees. The elections are slated for June 11 and Suresh Prabhu is expected to file his nomination papers on Tuesday. Now will see he will give railway zone or not to Andhra Pradesh.
