Revanth Reddy to launch hunger strike Hyderabad, June 23 (INN): Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy will undertake 48-hour hunger strike from June 25 against the alleged forced land acquisition for Mallana Sagar project by the State Government.
Speaking to media persons on Thursday, Telangana Telugu Rythu president V. Pratap Reddy said that Revanth Reddy would undertake hunger strike in Kistapur village of Medak district on June 25. He appealed to the farmers and NGOs to participate in the hunger strike and make it a success. He said that the TDP was not against the irrigation projects. However, it opposes the forced acquisition of farmers' lands at throw away prices.
