Governor meets PM Modi Hyderabad, July 25 (INN): Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Monday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and briefed him about the latest situation in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
Speaking to media persons later, Narasimhan said that his meeting with the Prime Minister was of no political significance. He said that the law and order situation in both the States was satisfactory. He said there was no discussion on bifurcation of High Court. Further, he said he would not intervene on the water sharing dispute between TS and AP. He said he has already held discussions with the Chief Ministers of both the State in the past.
The Governor said that the works pertaining to Krishna Pushkarulu would be completed as per schedule.
