Naidu discusses state issues with Governor Hyderabad, Oct 21 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday met Governor ESL Narasimhan and discussed various issues including issues of water sharing of Krishna River among others. The meeting which took place at Taj Gateway in Vijayawada is said to have lasted over an hour.
Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu reported having discussed the issue of transfer of Secretariat buildings sought by Telangana Government. The meeting assumes significance in the back drop of Telangana Government seeking handing over of the five buildings in the Secretariat to build a new Secretariat.
Naidu said that he was ready to sort out any issue amicably and also vowed not to compromise on the interests of the state.
It may be recalled that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao recently appealed the Governor to talk to his AP counterpart to hand over five blocks in Secretariat to TS government as AP had shifted its Secretariat to Amaravati.
