Gaddar terms Prabhakar's encounter fake Hyderabad, Oct 27 (INN): Revolutionary poet Gaddar on Thursday warned the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State governments not to kill Maoists in the name of encounters.
Gaddar, who paid tributes to slain Maoist leader Prabhakar at Yapral, termed the killings of 24 Maoists on the Andhra-Odisha border as a fake encounter.
Prabahakar alias Gangadhar went underground over two years ago after being associated with the cultural organization Praja Kala Mandali, relatives of the slain Maoist said.
In a related development, Virasam leader Varavara Rao on Thursday alleged that top Maoist leaders like Akkiraju Haragopal alias RK, Ganesh and others were in the police custody and demanded the AP police to produce them before the court.
