All set for national Judo meet in Karimnagar Karimnagar, Dec 7 (INN): Chairman of Telangana State Irrigation Development Corporation Eada Shankar Reddy on Wednesday said that all arrangements have been made for the 62nd National Judo tourney commencing from December 9 at Manair High School in Karminagar.
Addressing a review meeting with the officials here, Shankar Reddy said that the participants for Under 17 Boys and Girls Judo meet have started arriving in the city. He said that players from Haryana and Tripura have arrived in the city and asked the officials to make better arrangements for their stay. He directed the district sports officials to ensure that participants from Telangana give their best and come out with flying colours in the national meet.
Speaking on the occasion Karimnagar Mayor Ravindar Singh said that the officials were providing better boarding and lodging facilities for the participants in the national meet. He said that the city has been beautified for the national fete.
